Matt started his career in Film & TV at Hartswood Films as the assistant to legendary producer Beryl Vertue, subsequently becoming an in-house Development Executive and working as an Associate Producer across various scripted projects including the Sky One television film Roald & Beatrix: The Tail of the Curious Mouse, starring Dawn French.
After nearly fifteen years with the company, Matt left Hartswood in 2021 and spent two years as an Associate Producer at Avalon, before becoming a freelance Development Producer and Scripted Consultant, most notably working with the London Screen Academy’s students and alumni, focusing on their screenwriting skills and offering insights into the production process and opportunities as they take their first steps into the industry.
Matt joined Loop Talent in early 2024 as an Agent, using his years of production experience to represent the company’s Line Producers, Production Managers, 1st Assistant Directors, and Intimacy Coordinators
