Inspiration: I am generally inspired by how style can be a medium for expressing and communicating identity. In particular I take inspiration from subcultures, style eras, pop culture (anime, cartoons and cultural obsessions), femininity, masculinity and breaking down the binaries between, colours and palettes, magic realism and surrealism, the concepts of transgression and bravery, catwalk shows and all the stories I read and watch.

Career High: The first time I worked with one of my current celebrity clients I could tell that they were on the fence about being styled. It was for an advert that had several celebrity names involved but this particular client has quite tricky measurements, so I think there had been a few experiences in the past where being styled had not worked out. Their agent and people were adamant they would bring their own clothes, and they did. But upon browsing my rail, they got excited, tried on the looks and fell in love. On that very day they instagrammed and shared a picture of themselves in a look I styled them in, and management called production up the next day to ask for my contact details.
