About
Dr. Sita Thomas is a Welsh-Indian, queer Intimacy Coordinator based in Cardiff, bringing a wealth of expertise and a unique perspective to every project. She trained with Moving Body Arts, completing SAG-AFTRA-accredited training supported by a Screen Skills High-End TV Skills Fund bursary.
Sita’s background as a Movement Director and Director, supported by a Masters in Movement Directing and Teaching from the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama, enriches her practice. Her work is rooted in fostering trust and consent while supporting performers to deliver their best work and ensuring directors’ creative visions are fulfilled.
A champion of representation and inclusivity, Sita holds a PhD on British Black and Asian Shakespeare and has extensive experience addressing the politics of race, LGBTQ+ representation, and neurodiversity in the arts. Sita is passionate about creating respectful and collaborative spaces on set, ensuring every production benefits from her rigorous training, extensive experience, and commitment to artistic integrity.
