Inspiration: I’ve been a fan of Christopher Doyle’s approach to cinematography as long as I’ve been interested in cinematography. Gordon Willis and Harris Savides for the darkness in their imagery. Photographers Todd Hido, Bruce Davidson and Diane Arbus. The films of Stanley Kubrick and Robert Bresson will always be my greatest filmmaking inspiration. Steve Yedlin’s approach to cinematography has been a big influence in the past few years.
