Inspiration: I find endless inspiration in everyday life, especially people-watching in places like Camden, Brick Lane, and Peckham — vibrant hubs of diversity where the beautiful, the bold, and the extraordinary meet. My creative energy is fuelled by nature, global cultures, art, music, photography, dance, fashion, and the work of other creatives. Inspiration can come from anywhere.
Career Highlights: My first role as a makeup designer on ‘Three Little Birds’ was a dream come true, leading to a BAFTA nomination and an RTS Award for Makeup Design. One of the most surreal moments of my career came when Stevie Wonder personally invited me to join him on tour — an experience I will always treasure. Earlier in my career, I was invited to appear on Good Morning Britain with Lorraine Kelly, to raise national awareness about the urgent need for makeup products for women of colour.
Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of collaborating with extraordinary talents across television, fashion, music, and film. Every project, every recognition, and every opportunity that has seen my work published or onscreen is a reminder that the early mornings, long journeys, and late nights have all been more than worth it. Every job, no matter how big or small continues to inspire and energise me to create with passion and purpose.
