About
Emma Weissensteiner is a Liverpool and London-based Intimacy Coordinator who brings a wealth of cross-disciplinary expertise to her practice as an IC. She has trained with industry-leading bodies including Moving Body Arts, ISS, and IDC and received her IC Certificate from Film Intimacy under the mentorship of Kristen Elizabeth (SAG-AFTRA).
She is also a former professional Classical and Commercial dancer, a graduate of the world-renowned Central School of Ballet London and a winner of the Deutsche Bank Pyramid Award for Choreography. Her extensive background in performance, choreography, and physical storytelling allows Emma to work incredibly closely with actors, directors, and HODs to interpret a script and translate it into a physical narrative.
An experienced advocate on set for cast, crew and creatives, Emma works sensitively and intuitively on scenes of Intimacy or hyper-exposure. Her broad skillset means that she is well-attuned to navigate the challenges faced by productions and is fully committed to creating a safe, respectful and creative environment, with consent-based practices, protocols and professional guidelines at the forefront of her work as an IC.
Emma was recognised as a Broadcast Hot Shot for 2025 in recognition of her hard work, dedication, and rising profile in the industry as an Intimacy Coordinator.
