We are delighted to announce our appointment of James Dawson as Senior Agent and the opening of our new division of Editors, including Mark Davis (Peaky Blinders, The Crown) and Alex Fountain (The Responder).

James Dawson joins Loop to manage our high-profile Production Designer, Costume Designer and Editor clients.

James began his career in Vancouver, working in the Production department on high-end Commercials, Film & TV. During a busy 2 years in Canada he learnt the nuts & bolts of production, shooting grizzly bears, car stunts, Hollywood celebrities and everything in between.

Following this stay in North America, James moved to London and established himself as a freelance Production Manager & Producer. He worked on projects throughout the world, working with some of the best Directors and production companies in the UK.

James moved in talent management in 2017, representing below the line talent for their work across commercials and long-form projects.

Lucy Price, founder of Loop Talent, comments: “James has a fantastic reputation in the industry, and I couldn’t be happier to have him join us as a Senior Agent representing our Costume Designers, and Production Designers. Having built up a roster of high profile clients, with a lot of interest in our HODs from a wide range of productions, it feels like the natural next step to open a new division of Editors. I’m excited to work with James, and reinforce our position as the UK’s leading agency for below the line talent.

James Dawson, Senior Agent, Loop Talent, adds: “I’m delighted to be joining Loop talent. Lucy has built a dynamic agency with an impressive list of clients working on a high calibre of productions since she founded it in 2020. Loop has an exceptional reputation within the industry, and the company’s focus on empowering, progressing and nurturing its talent is clearly evident. I look forward to working in close partnership with Lucy and the rest of the team, and continuing to make a difference for our fantastic list.”
