Inspiration
Great editing should always inspire, and I still find that to be the case after 20 plus years as an editor.
Whether I’m watching a movie or a tv show, I still find it thrilling to know that the edit is where everything is brought together,
Storytelling is the key component of all the films I love; from classics like Jaws, The French Connection and Goodfellas to more modern films like City of God, The Social Network and The Sound of Metal, Ultimately if the script is strong the final cut will be amazing.
Career High
Actually I think cutting my first broadcast tv show was a career high.Just that feeling of excitement and nervousness knowing that you’ve got a chance to do something that you love.
