While living in Manchester in 2018, Robbie made a career change to pursue work in Locations. The role combined his passions for photography, architecture, film, and travel—making it a natural fit. Beginning his career on children’s productions for CBBC, Robbie later relocated to London to broaden his experience and seek opportunities in high-end drama and feature films.
Now a London resident of five years, Robbie has worked on large-scale productions including Ghostbusters, House of the Dragon, and Mobland. He has embraced the variety these projects offer, taking him from gritty East London streets to summers spent among the mountain ranges of Wales.
A career highlight occurred on The Capture, where—following a successful period as an Assistant during principal photography—Robbie was entrusted with independently location managing the reshoots. Having since firmly established himself as a high-end drama Assistant Location Manager (ALM), Robbie is now eager to advance to the next level in his career.
