Rita Ade

Art Director

Rita Ade is a British Art Director of Nigerian–Togolese descent, working across commercials, music videos, television, film, editorial, as well as stage and event design. She graduated from Arts University Bournemouth in 2020 with a degree in Costume and Performance Design, specialising in scenography, following an Associate Degree in Architectural Studies.

 

While at university, Rita developed her technical and collaborative practice within the art department as lead Set Designer, contributing to set builds for theatrical productions including Treasure Island and Girls Like That.

 

Since graduating, she has built a dynamic and multifaceted career, collaborating with global industry professionals to realise visually compelling and concept driven work across screen, live performance, and experiential environments. Her practice is rooted in a strong understanding of space, material, and narrative.

 

Rita recently completed a Master’s degree in Ceramics and Glass at the Royal College of Art, and is now focused on integrating this material exploration into her evolving creative direction.
