Luke was a theatre lighting technician for eight years before branching out into live events and festivals. During this time, he assisted lighting departments on a range of film, high-end TV (HETV), and unscripted productions, both through the theatre he worked in and with local crew companies. He went on to complete the C&G 2365 Level 2 Electrical Installations qualification, as well as the BS7909 Temporary Installations course.
In the past year, Luke worked at Panalux, where he developed hands-on knowledge of film and TV lighting equipment. He also completed a four-week lighting course at SHL and London Film Studios to further build his understanding of how this equipment is used on set. More recently, he has transitioned into freelance work and has gained experience as a spark trainee on short films, music videos, a commercial, and a docu-drama.
