Joe Luk is a 2nd Assistant Camera based in London. Born and raised in Hong Kong, he has worked in the camera department across the UK screen industries for over 6 years, with 3 years as a 2nd AC.
Joe first started work as a camera trainee in commercials and short form. Through this he moved into long-form productions, with some of his proudest 2nd AC credits coming from the Netflix feature-documentaries Battle of the Baddest and Undisputed. Alongside this, he progressed his work into scripted feature films and TV dramas. Currently, he is actively progressing his skills in loading 16mm and 35mm on smaller projects.
Joe genuinely loves working in the camera department, and is an absolute nerd when it comes to his job.
