Gary Kent
Gary is a Steadicam/MKV AR2 operator based in London.
Gary began his career in film in Los Angeles after completing a BFA degree in directing and cinematography and NYFA. At University Gary was introduced to the steadicam system and quickly became the go to operator for fellow students. By the time Gary finished University he had already created a clientele list which included WMG, DISNEY and SUMERIAN RECORDS to name a few. At the age of 21 Gary began his first feature film as B Camera/Steadicam Operator. Since then Gary has had the pleasure of working on multiple feature films, and many commercials, fashion and music promo projects.
In 2017 Gary returned to his home country of England and continued operating steadicam while also adding the MKV AR2 to his repertoire. Gary is well versed in short form and long form production, and enjoys the challenge each day of working on set, striving to work together with directors, DOPs and all crew members to create new exciting shots and stories at each opportunity.
