Matt’s debut feature FELINE won him the prestigious Panalux Cinematography Award in 2018. The jury for the prize described his work as having ‘great proficiency, ease and overall flow’.
Since graduating from the NFTS Matt has collaborated with some of the UK’s most exciting, emerging directors on short film projects. He is able to navigate different genres with ease, from the atmospheric short Unearthed, to the hybrid 2D/live action short Police –which was shortlisted for a student BAFTA.
Matt loves to collaborate with directors and bring his in depth film and technical knowledge to each project to help realise the creative vision. Well versed in 35mm film, 16mm film and digital formats as well as anamorphic and spherical lenses, Matt is also a keen painter which adds a more artistic flair to his craft.
